  "We loved our stay at Blue Mango cottages! The property is a bit run down but that is part of its charm. Rebecca was friendly and accommodating, although we didn't try her cooking like other reviewers have and I somewhat regret that now. It felt very Robinson Crusoe-like, going on little walkways ..."and down steps to a private little cove beach where we swam every morning. It's a short swim over to the next beach where the Boathouse Restaurant is. We ended up borrowing snorkelling gear from a generous German couple we met on the beach, and promptly saw a 6+ ft stingray! We really enjoyed having snorkelling options so handy. Our balcony was quite private and secluded, and we couldn't get enough of having dinner and drinks out there. The view is perfect, and I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a low-key, relaxing holiday in a picturesque nook of the world. " More >

  "We loved our stay at Miller's, the room was bright and clean, the bed was firm and the shower was excellent pressure and temperature. Mr. Miller himself (Winston) is a top guy, he organised our taxi to the airport in the morning and whenever we saw him he was lovely, positive and able to offer sug..."gestions and recommendations. The accommodation is relatively cheap ($41 US per night) and I believe you get more than great value for money. The Wifi is good when near the router and there is a computer available to guests when you need a secure line. Winston is also the major sponsor of the best local football team in Buccoo and watching the games at the local arena was an awesome way to meet members of the community and potential tour guides. Our stay in Buccoo was enhanced by one of Winstons young footballers, Andre - who is also one of the local fisherman. For $200TT and a couple of beers, he took us on a tour of Buccoo reef, the nylon pool, monocle bay, fishing (which we then BBQ'd) ... " More >
