  "We just returned from 10 days in Bequia and a stay at the Village Apartments. We could not have asked for a better place....it was perfect. The location is amazing, just a short easy walk to the boardwalk and into town to the dive shops any of 15 or so great bars and restaurants. A slightly more..." strenuous 15 minute walk over the hill in the other direction is Princess Margaret beach, and from there another 10 minutes or so to Lower Bay. The apartment had everything we needed and really felt like home. We loved sitting on the nice covered balcony watching the boats in the harbor, smelling the lovely flowers in the surrounding gardens, and drinking a cold hairoun while filling out our dive logs. George and Val are warm, welcoming and helpful as are the folks that help them out with cleaning and maintenance. As some of the other reviewers mentioned, DO bring bug spray and use the mosquito nets at night.....we did and were not bothered at all by bugs but met others that were. ... " More >
