  "We'd stayed at Nail Bay a few years ago and had a very pleasant stay. The main drawback then was the rough and long dirt road to get there. There is now a paved road which makes getting around from Nail Bay much easier. This time, we stayed at Drake's View upper floor with 2 adults and 3 kids. The v..."iews are amazing with beautiful sunsets every day. The unit is very nice with a very well equipped kitchen (we cooked a lot since eating out is pricey in the Carribean). There is not much going on in Virgin Gorda after dark so it was very nice to have TVs with all cable channels and a great selection of DVDs and board games. The staff is helpful and friendly, Kasha was so pleasant to deal with. Virgin Gorda is very quiet but has some of the best beaches in the World. Spring Bay was our favorite, great snorkeling and some boulders. Apart from The Baths which can be very busy with boaters, all the other beaches are very quiet. We highly recommend. " More >

Nail Bay not only didn't disappoint, but it wildly exceeded all our expectations from the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. Virgin Gorda is a truly relaxing island, everything goes at a wonderful easy pace. Ask to stay on the side of the resort closet to Mountain Trunk beach, if you can - it was the best of the three resort's beaches, so beautiful and peaceful. Also, make sure to check out Savannah Bay and Spring Bay during your stay. Lovely, almost secret like spots, not busy or crowded at all. Renting a car is SO easy through Nail Bay, (they bring it to the door of your villa and then you leave it there for them when you're done!) and driving on the left is not all stressful, because almost everyone takes is slo...
