  "A wonderful eccentric place to stay"
  "We spent all four nights of our visit to Montserrat at Olveston House. The rooms are simple, uncluttered, clean and cool. Three rooms lead out onto the wrap around balcony with lots of comfortable chairs for lounging around and relaxing. The other three rooms have no direct access to the balcony..." but compensate with AC. The food and drink is very reasonably priced, wholesome, good portions and tasty – try the Sunday lunch roast. Nobody has mentioned the pool which is clean and cooling. The staff took Sunday night off. They locked up (more like closed the doors rather than locking them) pointed us to the fridge with the rum cocktails and snacks and left us to enjoy the solitude. If you want excitement then please don’t stay here but if you want to relax, read, think and rest then this is the place.   "My husband and I spent 5 nights at Bunkum Beach Guest House. We stayed in the pool house. Sun and Kristina were wonderful hosts. Making sure we had everything we needed and arranging any tours we wanted to go on. Sun took us to the Exclusion Zone and was a wealth of information about the island. The..." complimentary pick up and drop off from the airport was a plus. The views from Bunkum are magnificent. The Iguanas in the yard are friendly and enjoy fresh fruit treats. The resident bunny made herself known in the mornings and evenings for a treat. The pool guesthouse has a great feature that allows the kitchen to open to the pool side for easy access for drinks and dining. The place is kept very clean. There are screens on the windows to help with mosquitoes and burglar bars in place if you feel uneasy. We felt 110% safe in Montserrat and would have felt the same without the bars.
