  "Camped here with my husband on a Wednesday and Thursday night in May, 2013 and had an amazing experience. First, it helped that it was a week day b/c we were only 1 campsite out of 8 that were occupied on the campgrounds, so we enjoyed our privacy. I don't think this is the case on the weekends. Als..."o because it wasn't crowded and not yet super hot the pit toilets were super clean and fresh. You do have to drive a little to the main entrance of the park but we didn't find this a problem. Would recommend buying or bringing chairs as the picnic tables can not be moved closer to the fire pits and you'll want to relax after a day spent hiking in the dessert. Amazing sites.
