  "We called into the Dunbrody for a late lunch on Sunday. It was very good. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, good food and excellent service We just wanted something very informal and ate in the cocktail bar. We have eaten there a number of times and have not been disappointed. Last time we just called ..."in a glass of wine, and asked for some crisps. We were told that the hotel didnt have any crisps but that the kitchen could make some fresh crisps for us .... well a few minutes later the most delicious bowl of crisps appeared... to me thats service. The hotel is not manicured to death it is what it should be, a gorgeous country house hotel, beautifully decorated and very welcoming. " More >

  "Myself and two friends went for afternoon tea for a friends birthday on a Saturday afternoon. The house and gardens are fab!! Really well kept and a lovely relaxed atmosphere! Afternoon tea was €20 per person and was gorgeous! We were stuffed! It all looked very dainty and petite when it arrived out..." but by the time were were done we were full! The staff were great they kept refilling our tea and coffee pots for the time we were there!! Really nice way to spend an afternoon, and finished it off with walk around beautiful grounds.
