  "Luxury Tent Lodging & Great Food!"
  "I could spend a week or more here! Instead, I had only two nights, which was not enough. Mago NP and Mursi tribes occupied one day, and local sightseeing occupied parts of two other days. This "tent" lodge is wonderful. Don't think "tent." Think thatched roof over tent frame and tent. No bugs,..." winged insects, etc could get in -- that's how tight this "tent" is. A private western style bathroom is attached to each tent. Hot water is available at 6pm each night (I was prepared for that), but when it runs out, there is no more until tomorrow night (water is heated in a 55 gallon oil drum with a wood fire underneath). Food is fabulous. This lodge is owned by Italians, and they know how to cook! Ethiopian / Italian dishes were wonderful. Sitting on the veranda overlooking the field (and river) below was totally relaxing. Only one minor inconvenience: navigating the stone walkways. It is easy to turn an ankle because they are uneven.
