The rooms are great-very large with a good sized bathroom and since the refurbishment they now have hairdryers, phones etc. It now feels less 'basic'. Reception staff were lovely and helpful-the breakfast is very ..."good(Hot and cold) but the dining area was a bit chaotic with insufficient staff to clear away debris.   "Yes the room is small, and so is everything inside - the bathroom, the desk, the luggage rack. But what on earth do you need a big room for when this city is teeming life outside?! Besides, everything is clean and fresh throughout the hotel, from the room, to the reception, to the breakfast area. Ch..."oices on the continental breakfast were tasteful and fresh. Wifi signal was good. When I checked in, there was a very warm and friendly young man at reception, who talked about the neighborhood we were in, explained the public transport options to hit the interesting spots of the city, and gave recommendations when asked about eating places that locals frequented. In the morning there was another person at the reception who was not as garrulous, but I found out later it was because he was more comfortable in french than english. The hotel was clean, with very comfortable recently upgraded beds. The staff were really considerate by putting us in two booked rooms at the back end of a corr..."idor (354 and 355) which were quiet and out of the main thoroughfare.
