  "We stayed at Gakuto Villas Jan 2013. My husband and I and out 3 children - 15, 13 and 10. We loved it. The Villas were beautiful designed and well looked after. We had to go to the lodge across the road for breakfast and we thought this might be a problem but it was lovely. The breakfast are si..."mple but very good. They were extremely helpful with any information needed, bookings for restaurants, lifts to supermarkets etc. The walk to the slopes was magical and only about a 10 minute walk but through a forest and past a beautiful little church. We would highly recommend staying here. The only suggestion was for them to put in a washing machine! I did a couple of hand washes in the bath tub and everything dried overnight. To tell you the truth - I didn't mind not having to do the washing!! Enjoy! " More >

Hel..."ps to burn up all those calories you've just enjoyed. Take you crampons, the roads can by icy. There are also many excellent restaurants nearby but be sure to book. A convenience store and alternative ski hire is just around the corner. The staff couldn't have been more helpful with directions and information. The rooms were maintained immaculately. Most of the shuttle buses stop at the Tokyo and the hotel has it's own bus that will take you to and pick you up from the gondola at Hapo-one on a suplimentary schedule. Can't recommend the amenity and convenience of the Tokyu Hotel for your next ski trip to Hakuba highly enough. " More >
