The weather was cold and extra oil heaters had been put in the bedrooms. The dinner meals for the coach tour was buffet style, a choice of three starters, three main courses and three sweet, all were of a very good standard. There is also a bar menu. Breakfast was also buffet style. Our room was ok and the beds comfortable, plenty of pillows and extra blankets if you wanted them. No complaints here. The swimming hall looks a bit dated but the pool is CLEAN and WARM! The hotel is on the outskirts of town so if you are not driving then you are confined. Of course the rooms were cold,we are having one of the coldest easrer in YEARS .All you had to do { I did } was to approach a member of staff, tell them your room was cold and you would have been pr..."ovided with an extra heater, making a great difference . As for being run down, it's not that bad and it is in the process of being renovated, Looking good as well. The room we were in was very clean the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The shower did not work but the bath filled up in a couple of minutes, no problem. The food was exellent, so good some of our party went back for seconds. as for the staff they were really friendly and helpful. I honestly could'nt fault the Quality Hotel. GREAT value for money. My only gripe is { the entertainment } OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Needs an upgrade as well :) " More >
