Dinner was served in 611, and in deference to my wheelchair-bound mother-in-law, the hotel set up a table and chairs on the tatami, instead of the more customary low table with seating on cushions. We were again served Yonezawa beef, and this time given a choice of sukiyaki or shabu-shabu. I had the latter. I found that the water really wasn't hot enough to cook shabu-shabu properly, and ended up cooking the whole thing in more of a sukiyaki style. It tasted great, though.
