My wife and I went for a 2 night deal last week. Very impressed. Nice room, great bar & restaurant, attractive grounds, pleasant and efficient staff and excellent breakfasts! Would certainly recommend and very dog friendly, although in an unobtrusive way for those not keen on pets. Many thanks.

Long cold journey North. Srumbled upon this place. Log fires, hot soup crusty rolls and fresh butter. We decided to stay and relax. Dinner was also hearty. Lots of local people use this place which is a good sign. We travelled onward to Barnstaple the next day very refreshed.
