I have eaten here on several occasions and can only say what a smashing place, friendly staff and good food, and a sensible bill and the end of the evening, comfortable and welcoming best describes the atmosphere, unlike a lot of way more expensive eating houses you actually feel you have had value for money, the Steaks are excellent.

We always have a great meal here. It is not haute cuisine but very honest fare which isexcellent value for money. My daughter had the belly pork, she ate every pick of what was supposed to be a childs portion (adult size really) and she's only eight. Homely pub feel with good service in a lovely clean enviroment.
