The hotel might seem old, but has the best view in Castelmola. Very friendly staff, that will put the extra mile, to make sure you are happy. Superb breakfast, with the best chocolate croissants I have ever eaten. Nothing beats waking up to the wonderful view over Etna! If you arrive early, you can park at the hotel (they have a few places available).

The staff at the hotel are amazing! Gentlemens from the reception irreplaceable! Despite the inconveniences of language, getting along with them and free conversation took place without problems. The rooms are neat, cleaned daily. Air conditioning works. Parking space always under the hotel. Amazing view from the room !!! Best in Castelmola! And breakfasts were delicious! The view from the breakfast terrace is breathtaking! But the most important thing is the atmosphere that prevails there. We felt great throughout the trip. Thank you Marcello and Igor ❤️

We went to this place to have a great view and we did. After reservation, I asked for a room with Etna view and parking spot - everything was waiting for our arrival. Good price / quality ratio. Our room was clean and had balcony. We managed to communicate in English. Italian breakfast was surprisingly fine (crossaint with a lot of chocolate, rusks with jam or butter, coffee). Drawbacks: WiFi working only near the reception area (or at least not in our room). Hotel could make use of some renovation to improve quality, especially in rooms and bathrooms. Some guidance how to get to the place and where to park would be useful - we were not sure if we can enter the area as the traffic there is limited for residents

I recently completed a road trip on my own in Sicily and I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel; the staff was very nice and always made sure I had everything I needed, the room was clean and comfortable and this view!!! I could watch it for hours! The hotel has some reserved parking spots (if I had known, I wouldn't have spent so long trying to parallel park in the narrow streets of castel mola) and then you can take a shuttle to Taormina, which is very convenient. I also loved the atmosphere of this small Sicilian village, not as crowded as Taormina and with spectacular view. I can't wait to be back to Sicily with my family or friends and will definitely book again this hotel.

We popped in to the hotel for a coffee and were absolutely charmed by it. We sat on the terrace with its stunning views of Etna and the coast with a lovely jug of coffee soaking up the sunshine and it was just one of those holiday times you will remember and treasure. Only saw downstairs but it was all very clean. We were just so glad that we climbed the stairs up to the hotel - a charming and delightful find.

Castelmola is one of the most beautiful place of Europe, very close to Taormina, but not so crowded. The hotel is simple but lovely and clean. The panorama is absolutely unique! Marchello is an amazing host, charming and helpful.

Hotel Panorama is charming, has amazing views and Marcello, the owner made sure we had everything we needed. Situated at the top of Castelmola, it was bit of a distance to travel to but it was well worth it to find this gem. It's very affordable considering it is very near Taormina where hotels are around 200 euros. The hotel has the charm of a bed and breakfast. The room we had was simple and it felt like a step back in time. It had what we needed and a character that I enjoyed. From the hotel patio, we had a panoramic view of Etna, the sea and we could see Taormina and the neighboring cities lit up below at night. The scenery was beautiful. Marcello, the owner was friendly, cheerful and kind. He gave us the best recommendations and made our stay and visit to Castelmola, Taromina and Isola Bella memorable. We highly recommend Hotel Panorama and will surely come again.

We discovered the Hotel Panorama di Sicilia thanks to a Groupon deal. The staff of the Hotel that is run by one family it was really helpful and kind. The breakfast was ok, with high quality croissants and good italian coffee. The structure of the Hotel would need some refurbishing, since it is quite old, although in good shape overall and always clean. In particular the shower in the toilet was quite problematic, since was getting the toilet quite wet. But the really amazing thing of this hotel was the view, quite astonishing. The name Panorama is really well deserved.

It is fair to say that the rooms are very basic and old-fashioned, but what made this hotel were the stunning views and friendly service. Our balcony overlooked Etna with views down to the coast - Giardini Naxos bay and surrounding area. It was amazing both during the day and at night. If you want modern facilities then this wouldn't be the hotel for you as an update is long overdue but if any hotel in the world offers such spectacular views at the price I'd be surprised. It really could do with aircon and an overhaul and would be second to none with that. Castelmola is a lovely little village and far more charming than Taormina.

The hotel is for me a unique place in the world. You enter climbing stairs with beautiful smelling flowers. Its situation on the top of the hill is seen from far when returning each night to a home place. In front of a stunning view to the Etna i liked to see Marcello preparing the breakfast tables from my balcony with the melody from the clock tower reaching my ears in the morning. The beauty of the hotel is its simplicity and pureness of the rooms combined with a warm welcome of the family and the breakfast on the terrace.
