Hardwick Hall is set in the most beautiful grounds,with a picturesque lake.The hotel has a homely feel,traditionally "old" but modern touches.The reception was welcoming with tasteful fresh flowers.Our rooms were very nice with amazing views,large comfy beds & a gorgeous large bathroom. Breakfast was everything we could have wanted,cereals,nuts,fruit,seasonal fresh fruits & berries,followed by a good cooked breakfast.Excellent. Thankyou.😃

Father's Day Sunday Lunch for seven was lovely. Good service and a very good selection of starters, main courses and desserts, followed by tea or coffee. Only disappointment was that the website stated a gift for dads included, which we didn't see any sign of.

My son took me for a treat for Mothers Day - not on the actual day as he was working but a couple of weeks later. Sunday lunch was fabulous - plenty of choice and served in a great atmosphere with a pianist and attentive staff. Would recommend.

Just returned from an excellent stay to enjoy friends wedding. Hotel is superb in excellent settings and staff friendly and helpful. Room was very well appointed and luxurious.
