ok this is not the ritz and doesn't pretend to be. ~Budget price with budget accommodation and probably the smallest hotel bathrooms i have ever seen. Great breakfast and very friendly staff nothing is a problem. More

I booked this hotel as a stopover on the way to Galway , The weather was awful- gale force winds when I got into Claremorris. The hotel was very quiet and the night porter gave me keys. My room was large and nicely decorated with TV, Hair Dryer, Kettle , etc. The bathroom was a decent size and nicely decorated.... More

Having stayed at the "Dalton" many times I can definitely say never again. It is a shame to see a place decline so much that is so conveniently situated. The arrival is always a joy but I think it just sums up the falseness of the place. The room was relatively clean but is so desperate for a re-vamp. The... More

Stayed here with a group of cyclists. When we were checking in a hotel manager came to help the new receptionist (who was absolutely lovely and far more suited to her job than the manger, she was very friendly and helpful) when the manager came over he was evidently confused and frustrated, he did not have a clue as to... I had a pleasant stay here, the food was good, the location was good, and the staff were very friendly, the only downside was there is no parking, you have to park on the street, if you can get a space otherwise the car park is round the corner (3 mins walk) The only other problem I had was the... A reasonable place to stay but overpriced by at least 20 Euros. I would suggest. Out first encounter was with an efficient but rather distant female eceptionist. More

I stayed in this hotel during a sad family occasion. I had filmed the funeral on an expensive digital camera, that also contained a recent marriage ceremony and other personal memories. On the day of my departure imagine my distraught state, when in addition with having to cope with the recent bereavement I found that the camera had disappeared. The... More
