The wife and I stayed 4 nights at Hanora's Cottage the 3rd week in October, our 7th or 8th visit there over the last few years. As usual, everything was outstanding. The breakfasts were legendary, including numerous fruits, 6 different types of home made bread, smoked salmon, farmhouse cheeses from local sources, scrumptious porridge, and, as if that weren't enough,... Had a wonderful few days at Hanora's cottage with our daughter and her partner. The weather was lovely which was a bonus. The welcome of tea and muffins a lovely touch. The food was fabulous and the breakfast was probably the best we have had even at five star accommodation. We would certainly recommend for a quiet getaway with lovely... More

We stayed at the cottage a few weeksago and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had anywhere in the world. On arrival we received a hugely warm welcome from Eoin who was lovely and showed us our room and then served us beautiful coffee and home made muffins. That was the first thing I remember on... More

My husband and I have just come back from a 3 day break in Hanora's cottage. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome, greeted by Eoin with Tea and scones. Food was of a very high quality, breakfast exceptionally good. Room had a beautiful view over the river and gardens. Very friendly staff and first class service. Would... More

My husband and I had the privilege of staying in Hanora's Cottage for a few nights. The immediate feeling is of warmth and friendlliness and we felt at home straight away. Even though we were late arriving, there was no problem getting something to eat. Breakfast the following morning was a sight to behold . All the produce is locally... More

We have just returned from a fabulous few days in Waterford. Stayed at Hanora's Cottage which was a great choice. They have the magic formula of sophisicated cuisine and lodgings combined with old world Irish hospitality and charm. What a wonderful atmosphere this family has created in their secluded hostelry. Two generations of knowing how to look after guests. May... More

On a recent visit to Hanoras cottage with my wife we enjoyed a meal of pure bliss. On arrival we were welcomed to the living room for pre dinner drinks where we read the menu in comfort by the fire. Having eventually decided from the extensive offereing our order was taken by a friendly staff member. We sat and finished... More

Nothing was too much for the people at Hanora's Cottage, everybody made sure all of our needs were met, whether it was special wheat free bread and cakes or directions for touring or walking! Exceptionally comfortable throughout and unhurried service (even when we lingered over our breakfast). Would love to go back again when next we are in Ireland Brian... More

My wife and I stayed one night at Hanora's Cottage which was much too short. A warm welcome from Mary Wall led to a large comfortable room with Jacuzzi bath to sooth aching limbs. Dinner and wine were superb. Breakfast was the best we have had. We walked off the calories in the mountains at the doorstep. We'll be back... More
