Pauline and John have created a wonderful home with purpose-build B and B accomodation, which is faultless. We loved having breakfast in their lounge, with the stunning view and Pauline's delicious muffins. Pauline and John are the most friendly and helpful hosts, with lots of input on good local activities and places to eat. They certainly made all 5 of... More

Last month my girlfriend and I stayed in Pauline and John's outstanding Tasman Bay Bed & Breakfast for two nights. They both made us feel so welcome and my words here won't do their warm hearts and friendliness any justice, however I will try my best. John's knowledge of the area is very valuable and it is this local knowledge... More

Our 3-night-stay in this B&B asked for more. During our stay we enjoyed so much the hospitality of Pauline and John and their sincere interest in us. It felt like friendship. Pauline is a great cook (lovely sticky chocolate-cake) and John is a great organiser and knows the area. Even support into the not so touristic areas was not too... More

Hello to you both and first of all thanks so much for the wonderful review you posted! We missed you when you left and were so very grateful for the tips you gave us for travelling over to Europe .I have had good success with pursuading John to make the trip over...I hear him talk of 'when' and not 'if'... We recently stayed for 3 nights at Tasman Bay B&B. Our room was really well appointed; large comfortable bed and a spacious en suite with spa bath and separate shower. The property has been purpose built as a B&B and every detail has been well thought through. The views from the breakfast room/ lounge are stunning. Pauline and John are... More

We stayed at this B&B half way through our tour of NZ and from the moment we arrived both Pauline and John made us feel so welcome. They really did make it feel like a home from home. John's knowledge of the area and willingness to help and organise any trips, places to eat, that we were interested in was... More

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Tasman Bay B&B. Thanks to friendly and helpful hosts Pauline and John. Great quiet location, clean tastefully decorated room with nice bathroom, we also loved the outdoor area for evening drinks - everything was perfect! We spent 2 nights in the Tasman Bay B&B with Pauline and John in Jan 2013 and had an amazing time. Lovely place and very caring hosts. They gave us suggestions on where to go and what to do, and even lent us their bikes. Breakfast was yummy :)

We really enjoyed our two night stay. Pauline and John could not have been more gracious hosts. Superb location, brilliant breakfasts, lots of excellent advice on restaurants, walks etc. John went beyond the call of duty to satisfy our desire to have a photograph of us kayaking, bringing out the kayaks, taking the photos and not laughing at our inept...
