We were welcomed by Helen the owner and chef. The food was superb, the serving staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble....and the gluten free chocolate dessert was to die for. Thank you so much. Only wish we'd stayed at the Lodge rather than the hotel we did stay at..... we'd definitely come back again.

We arrived after 14 hours in the car and were welcomed by Sally and William, our room was fantastic, spacious, clean and tastefully decorated with glorious views to the snow topped hills. The dinner menu was what you would expect in a high class restaurant, no wonder the dining room was full. It is set back from the road and... More

I stayed in a neighbouring guest house for 4 nights this month, and my landlady recommended dinner at the Glenorchy Lodge. I was pleasantly surprised by the range of dishes on the menu - a cut above your average 'pub grub' choices! I was even more impressed by the quality of the food when it arrived. it had clearly been... More

We were moved to this hotel as building work still in progress at our hotel. Sally was charming + friendly, rooms lovely + newly decorated (very tasteful). Good facilities for walkers + cyclists as substantial drying room available. Evening meal very good, variety of choices. Breakfast good, but would have liked more choice (no "tattie scones!"), fresh fruit + yoghurt... More

Food was freshly prepared and was all of a very high standard. Visited twice, and service was very friendly and welcoming on both occassions. After sampling the excellent cuisine here, wished we'd have stayed here for out three night break, rather than than where we were staying.

Earlier this month we were staying near Dalmally and on two consecutive evenings enjoyed delicious meals at Glen Orchy Lodge. We had no reservation but were greeted very warmly by the owners and waiting staff. The wine list was interesting and well priced and the food absolutely delicious, especially the beef casserole (which we ordered on both nights). If we... More

On 29 March 2013we were asked to leave the neighboring Dalmally Hotel for not adhering to their terms and conditions ( we objected to having to use their hand gel) and as this was before breakfast and the next train was not until lunch time we were looking for somewhere to eat. Unfortunately Dalmally is quite isolated and we had... More

we had been touring the area and stopped in for a drink ( good pint of guiness) and got such a welcome from Sally and Mac that we had a bar meal, venison lasagne and the beef pie was to die for, and the waitress was pleasant and atentive with a big smile. we will be back but next time... More

We stayed in the village last week (not the hotel) dropping in for a drink, booking a meal and then dropping in for a bar snack. Each time we were treated like locals not outsiders. The food is great and Mac and Sally went to a lot of effort to make sure we were comfortable and happy when we were... More

We had passed this hotel a few times whilst travelling in the area. Having done a few nights of wild camping and climbing we were ready for a warm bed! So at 7pm when we called in to see if they had a room - they had, the owners Mac and Sally couldn't do enough to help us and make... More
