An excellent welcome, really nice conversion of this property to B&B, designed with care and customer focus, good quality, well-sized rooms, convenient for Langley Castle and Hadrian's Wall, easy to book and pay, well-prepared breakfast, strongly recommended.

I stayed at Shaftoe's b & b as i was attending a wedding at Langley Castle. The b & b was ideal as it was so close to the castle. I got such a warm welcome when i arrived and my room was wonderful. Spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious. I would stay again

Stayed 28/09/12 .Hard to fault. Everything was provided and neatly laid out. Better than some hotels ive sayed in. First class breakfast. Would stay again if required.This is an excellent B & B if attending functions at Langley Castle.
