We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Horizon, we last stayed in 2010. We love Arrillas and have been many times over the years. The Horizon is a wonderful hotel, the recent refurbishments to the rooms are very tasteful and all the staff friendly and helpful. Clean hotel in nice quiet location but rather peculiar service from everyone except the always friendly and engaging receptionist. Given previous reviews we may have been unlucky. Simple small talk was non existant and the waiter appeared ill equiped for a job in customer service.

We stayed here in June for 1 week. Couldn't ask for anything more in terms of accommodation. The room had everything we needed, staff were extremely friendly and the location was absolutely perfect. This was our second time in Arillas and the Horizon hotel made it a perfect holiday. Hope to go back again soon.
