Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Centrally located in Abbeyfeale. The room was pleasant with a huge bathroom. Good working area with kettle. Very good breakfast served from 0730h. Car park in the rear with plenty of space and access to the hotel through the bar. Very helpful staff. Quiet.

Staff were friendly and attentative and polite. Our room was neat and tidy and bed was comfy although walls must be thin as had to listen to man in next room snoring all night. Our bathroom seemed to be rushed to have it ready after previous problems with water as grouting was thrown on and roughly smeared into place which looked really ugly and unproffessional. Food though was good and service was good also. Restaurant was very clean. Breakfast had a good selection of choice and was nice and service was good and waitress was polite and friendly. Hotel was clean but in need of updating.

I organised my annual cycle trip in Ireland to Abbeyfeale and Templemore this year. My group of 16 stayed in Leens Hotel for 5 nights. We were made very welcome by the manager and staff from the moment we arrived. The ensuite rooms are very comfortable and well designed. The breakfasts are freshly cooked and delicious. We had dinner in the hotel on the 5 evenings of our stay. There was a very good selection to choose from and the quality was excellent. Great service too. The hotel is a great base for cycling the Limerick Greenway and the surrounding areas.

Just returned from an overnight stay and a Birthday Celebration with Friends & Family. As I live in the UK arranging a get together remotely was made easy with the Help of Mary. We had a very enjoyable evening in a private area by the Bar. Food & Service was great and Olive and her lovely staff took good care of everything. When the party was over it was great just to pop upstairs to a very clean, comfortable Twin Bedroom and had a great night's sleep. Loved everything about The Hotel. Breakfast was excellent service by friendly, efficient staff.

When we arrived it was very busy. We were seated at our table quite quickly but menus did take a little longer. The food arrived within a reasonable time and was delicious. The seafood chowder was especially yummy! The waitresses were very polite and special mention to Laura . Nothing was too much trouble and she was really lovely.

Stayed here recently and loved the staff, the cleanliness and food. With a few tiny more touches in the bedrooms this could be a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was fantastic, freshly cooked and a great choice of items on the menu. The rooms were basic but so toasty and comfortable. Everywhere is freshly painted and spotless - all the previous reviews were correct about what a great place this is to stay in Abbeyfeale.
