Located just outside Totnes it's a charming place to stay. A short drive down a gravel track finds the B&B which is every bit as beautiful as the pictures appear. The room I had was spacious, in good condition and very clean. In the annex there would be enough romm for a family of 4 with young kids. You can... More

I had to visit Totnes on business and came across Appalachian Spring almost by accident. In our contact beforehand and during the visit, Toni proved to be a 'natural' host. She has a fantastic personality and this manifests itself in the B&B from the decor, quality and comfort of the rooms to the superb breakfasts. This is a place of... More

If you are kind to the planet this place will be kind to you. Toni was so generous in her support of our lifestyle and work. We hope to come back again soon! Very close to the lovely old pub, The Cott Inn and far away fom the busy roads in the country

We had a lovely three nights in February. Toni was friendly and welcoming and Appalachian Spring, a converted farmhouse, cosy and attractive even in cool wet February. Charming Totnes is close by with its 42 coffee shops as well as boutiques and antiques, and Dartmouth is not far away. Thank you - it was a great break!

Appalachian Spring and Toni welcomed myself and my 6 year old daughter with warmth, friendliness, a wonderful double bedroom and a room with toys, a piano and wifi. My daughter was in heaven with the brio trainset and many childrens books! We had a very relaxing evening and night. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh berries, cereals, lovely toast, marmalade and... More

It was a delight to meet Tony our charming host at her lovely home. We had such a comfortable stay and the breakfast was outstanding and we can't rate the marmalade highly enough along with the delicious fry up! A perfect B&B-better than home from home!

We were first time in England and expected to have direct contact with people there, if we stay in B&B's. And so it was. We felt like at home from the first arrival at Appalachian Spring. We had many interesting and entertaining talks with Toni. She prepared us a delicious breakfast. Our rooms were large and everything was very clean.

We stayed for 3 nights at Toni's B&B and we really enjoyed it. Great breakfast each morning wih poached eggs, just spot on. We have been in the South Hams several times, for the future we do know a very good B&B tot stay.

We had a wonderful three nights stay at Appalachian Spring, the house is a picturesque old farm house with a beautiful garden. We were made to feel so welcome by Toni that by the time we left we felt as though we were leaving a friend. Our room was very clean and the bed so cosy and comfortable. Nothing was... More

What a delightful stay at Appalachian Spring. The bedroom was very clean and the bed really comfortable. We cannot praise Toni enough for her wonderful, hearty breakfasts (we stayed for 3 nights), with poached eggs a speciality. She was so welcoming and caring and nothing was too much trouble for her. We soon became friends with her, so much so... More
