Very average, that all I can say. Parking difficult, food average (breakfast better than dinner) . . . no bar as such and not a great deal to do in the village on an evening. Would not rush back. To sum up a B & B that thinks it something better which is overpriced by a good 50%. More

We spent three nights at the Ashfield to recharge our batteries when touring the north. It was a beautiful room. The breakfast was also brilliant with lovely local produce. Great location for walking or just relaxing. There is a lovely garden at the rear that must be a very relaxing place to sit in the summer. More
