We stayed on this campsite in Sept 2012 and were very impressed with the site itself. It is in a truly beautiful country setting, very clean and we could not fault it in any way . Wiil almost certainly stay again.

We have just returned from two excellent weeks at La Palombiere in the Dordogne. This excellent campsite is five star and truly deserves this rating. It is positioned in a beautiful countryside setting, ten minutes away from Sarlat and therefore a car is much needed as there isn't much in the nearest small village of St Nathalene, (although very pretty)... Don't be put of by the reviews previously you have to try this campsite. It is spotless, Keycamp were very good and helpful. The owners of the site can be quite sharp but I don't think it's anything other than their manner. People give out about the surface around the pool, but in fairness I never saw a child running... We got on the ferry to St Malo with our trailer tent and you drive down to La Palombiere in about 7 hours which is probably the maximum the kids would stay in the car...I am French so to me the owners were very polite so I cannot speak for the Brits but the staff from Keycamp and Canvas looked...
