We (Family of four) had been to Mount Abu in March 2013. We surfed the internet for best hotels in Mount Abu. We chose Ratan Villas after our extensive reasearch. And we were pleasantly surprised with the amicable hospitality and service. Excellent place ot stay in Abu. Keep up the good work.

Best place to live in Abu, it's 7 to 8 KM from Abu toll point and on the way to Gurushikhar. You have to have your car as otherwise commuting here is expensive. Nice log huts with clean bathrooms and LCD TV in each room. Food is good with non-veg options available. Property has a small hillock as well on... More

Nice quaint place perched away from the buzz of the marketplace and Naini lake (actual distance 7 kms). This place is definitely out of bounds for those who like to shop and roam around as getting to and fro could turn out to be quite expensive. Located quite close to the Brahmakumari Peace Park.. The resort is well maintained and... More

Excellent place to be in. Out of the world from day to-day routine and buzzing crowded metros. Perfect place to be with your family and friends. Greant rejuvenation and energized feeling. Rooms are quite comfortable and defines to basic luxury amenities. Food is homely and restaurant ambience is superb. Hospitality is excellent.

I recently stayed at Ratan Villas. Firstly, it is very far from the main market and Nakki Lake and the road is also scary and not worth to be explored on bike. The Palatial Villas are totally worthless. They are very close to the reception and not a single penny worth. If you want to stay always take the suite... More

A differerent experiance from what you expect from a normal popular tourist spot.a little away away from the nakki lake , much closer to the nature on the way towards the guru shikhar. Not the normal hotel food , much closer to the home food . Great service & hospitality. Must is the jungle trek , which brings you more... More

We were there from 10/3 to 14/03 and from the very first day we were given a Royal Treatment. Whether it is food, room, everything was excellent. If you are looking for peace and want to avoid hustle bustle of city, you can live here. You are walking distance from here to peace park.

The hospitality at Ratan Vilas was par excellence. The rooms and the whole place is well maintained and clean. The ambiance is beautiful and peaceful. Loved the place. They could do with better food though. The cuisine was usual, a few local items can be included to add to the flavour of the resort. The jungle walk was an awesome... More

It is far from city and therefore very good scenic location with zero pollution and disturbance from traffic noise. It is perfect for those who are looking for relaxing vacation. Staff is nice and accomodative. One should go for Jungle track. Bit expensive property so need to negotiate hard before finalizing it.

The premise of the Lodge was based on the need to conserve the delicate balance between human and nature and show through example, how tourism can be constructive and when necessary, controlled effectively. We, from the urban environment, have forgotten how to relate to our natural habitat, to respect and nurture it. Ratan Villas's endeavor is to propagate this, through real nature interactions, together with the special experience. This is very important balance and its comprehension is missing from the urban life.Ratan Villas, however is an oasis of serenity and offers a splendid view of gigantic granite rocks, dotted with caves and temple. Crowned by a natural rock of an African elephant - proud guardian to the open forest on one side and the crumbling Aravali hills on the other. It is set amidst trees on a private estate, overlooking a valley and along its northern periphery. It is a fifteen minute drive, further up from the Nakki Lake cutting through the mountains and forest. ... more   less
