The hot springs at Papallacta are truly beautiful and well worth a trip from Quito for a day soaking in the baths. The hotel at the springs has a fantastic location at the top of the hill and closest to the springs, which is worth a premium. Wonderful stay, very far drive out to the hotel. The hotel was nice and quiet, the pools had no awful or sulfuric smell and the hot springs are very enjoyable. Restaurant was nice, decent food, but very expensive considering other food prices in Ecuador.

Very neat and comfy hotel. The natural springs are an amazing experience and the scenery surrounding the hotel is amazing. One of the best options to disconnect yourself from the city and enjoy nature wonders.

I stayed in this resort right after my trip in Galapagos. It was worthwhile the stay for RECHARGING. The location is great because it's in between the city (Quito) and the Amazon (Tena/Napo).
