Stayed in this hotel during September and I'd have to say it was rather disappointing. It's in a great location and has great potential but is let down by staff who aren't fussed whether they speak to you or not and less than hygenic bathrooms with mould around the tiles and suspect hair on the floor. The room itself seemed... More

I enjoyed my recent visit to Achill and this hotel answered all I was looking for. It's location is good, close to restaurants and the beach. The room was lovely with a view over the beach and towards the cliffs. More

During our recent week long stay in Mulranney, we ventured over to Keel for dinner one evening, and ended up in this Hotel. It was 5.50pm and my wife and I were with our 2 young children. The restaurant was empty apart from one table, and upon showing us to our seats, the first thing, the waitress said to us,... More

This is a nice little hotel - the perfect place to stay on Achill Island. I was visiting Ireland with my brother, and we chose to stay a few nights on Achill Island to experience a remote part of Ireland. The rooms are simple and clean. The people who run the hotel are friendly and helpful. The food in the... More

This is a nice hotel; a great base for exploring the beautiful & scenic Island of Achill and further surrounding areas. There were plenty of parking spaces. Our hotel room was clean and comfortable; this is a lovely peaceful location for a good night’s sleep. The hotel staff / owners were very helpful for the most part, with some of... More

We celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary on Aug 12th, & decided we really wanted to go back to Achill. We chose this hotel because good food is very important to us,& the menu read well.- The food was good. Lots of choice, great fish & sea food, well-cooked & nicely presented.(Apart from the very unnecessary strawberry that was a garnish... More

Nice rooms, reasonable prices, friendly staff and very, very good food all added up to a great stay. Keel is the main village on Achill and the hotel is very well situated. The breakfasts were substantial and the place was very busy but the staff made time to chat. We also had a good evening meal - locally caught seafood... More

Good room and great food during our stay; staff were very attentive and provided food off the breakfast menu for our needs! The dinners were excellent and great value, and the view from the dining room adds a lot to the experience - booking a window seat is a must! One minor issue was that you should be able to... More

We booked this hotel on a b&b deal - 99 euro per night for both not PPS. The hotel is small and has a very small bar and restaurant. The decor of the hotel is a little old fashioned but it is extremely clean. Our room was huge and spotlessly clean, the ensuite was great. The staff are friendly and... More
