The views of the countryside are fantastic. We were greeted by Sally and Chris who are friendly and knowledgable. A lot of the vegetables come from their garden and the meals were delicious. I helped Chris feed the cows one morning which was fun and interesting. What a peaceful and wonderful place.

Very warm and friendly hosts, they gave us directions to the Waitomo Caves and a couple extra scenic landmarks that did not disappoint. We were also able to help feed the cows which was so cool. The room was clean, the shower / tub room was separate from the loo. Definitely 5 stars and would strongly recommend.

As we arrived quite a bit earlier than expected we were quickly whisked up to the beginning of the DOC track that climbs up Mt. Pirongia.
