Dropped in for LUNCH as passing thro. Was very disappointed with the service and the food was nothing to brag about. Decided to eat outside and had to shoo the 28,s away to stop them from stealing my chips.

Twice a year, June & Christmas, for over a decade my friend and I have been enjoying the wonderful ambiance of the Mundaring Weir Hotel. We usually stay for 4 or 5 nights during which time we utterly relax & indulge ourselves in the atmosphere created by the natural beauty of the surrounding bushland with its smells & countless bird...

The only reason we stayed here was because I couldn't get over how expensive Perth accommodation was! The room was basic, the only heating was an open fire (which I didn't mind as I'm a firebug :) and a small blow heater. Took a while to warm up. Bathroom is in dire need of a renovation. Pub meal was actually...

Ended up here for lunch after turning up to mundaring to find a 2 hour que into the truffle festival . So thought we would go for lunch here as I had not been in many years . We ordered the bangers and mash and the lamb shank . Well the mash was lumpy and the sausage was nothing special...

Old pub feel but unfortunately the food was well below average. Pizza base was too thick and poorly done. Lamb shanks had no great appeal or flavour. Beef and Guinness pie was almost inedible. While it was reasonably priced I wouldn't return for a meal again. Maybe drop by for a beer and some chips.....
Service was reasonably fast and...

We went to Mundaring Weir Hotel for lunch and were shocked at the poor quality of the food.
We had bangers and mash - the sausages were boiled and the mash was old and just one big hard lump.
no salad or anything tasty about the meal at all.

This is a great place to go to for lunch on a Sunday drive but the accommodation is dreadful. We attended a wedding in Mundaring so thought it would be a nice place to stay. The room was absolutely freezing and the only heating provided is the wood fire and a small blow heater that cut out after a few...

We had lunch here on Saturday (16.06), group of 5 adults and 3 kids and the meals where fantastic!! Very reasonably priced as well. Would highly recommend the beautiful drive out, winter or summer!
surprised hubby and took him to see an old friend we have not seen for quite a while and she is still as beautiful and warm as ever, the Mundaring Weir Hotel is the perfect place on a chilly night. We stayed overnight and hubby had the open fire roaring in 2 minutes flat. There were quite a few people...

No booking - Lunch on spur of the moment. Quiet atmosphere very good for lunch in the sun. Excellent bush view. Bangers and mash very good. Medium rare steak excellent. Coffee very good. Great for children to play in play centre with supervision from lunch table. Ordering food was pub style and reasonably quick. Plenty of close parking. Owner attentive...
