Nice place clean and friendly. No Lift so be prepared to navigate the stairs. More like a B&B. It is handy for the ferry to the IOM and there is a pub less than two minutes walk which serves food. The breakfast was very good, freshly cooked.

At first sight this seems to be a strange place to have a B&B as it overlooks Heysham docks and its industrial surroundings. What a find! The room was furnished to an amazingly high standard. Beautiful bedroom and cannot wait for an excuse to stay there again. The owners were lovely and friendly and could not do enough for us and our little baby girl. Cannot say enough about this place.

We stayed at the Port House during October and used it for a base for cycling trips to Carnforth, Lancaster and beyond. Great place, lovely room, fantastic breakfast, Wifi worked ! telly well placed, tea and coffee , staff ! really good, would definitely return, stayed as visiting relatives in nearby Lancaster, all good !!!

The Port House is a very smart B&B with staff who care. Forget the proximity to the port etc. and walk 10-15 minutes into the lovely old world village of Heysham with its historic church. Rooms at the Port House are spacious, modern and v comfortable.
