Went several times to this very nice & characteristic restaurant in which the Chef Benhard Neuner jr. prepares wonderful bavarian food. Top of the list are the desserts: the best Keiserschmarrn I've ever tasted & special Apfelkücherl with cinnamon & vanillaice! The service is great & the atmosphere typical Bavarian: kind & light.

The rooms were very nicely furnished, beds most comfortable with nice linen. Everything was there to ensure our holiday was enjoyable. Definitely recommend this hotel - and Wallgau is the perfect spot for a walking or cycling vacation.

Lovely big rooms at most reasonable prices. Very friendly staff and management, with excellent restaurant. Breakfast buffets offered great variety and excellent quantity. This was in stark contrast to a terrible experience encountered immediately before at another hotel in the same town, where we left after one night of our week's intended stay. (Separate review).
