We stayed at this lodge in August 2012 to explore Tobermory area. Staff was nice, helpful and very friendly, even we arrived at 11:30 PM. No problem to check in. I could say the room was basic, but was clean. There was free WiFi all around the lodge. Plus you have an access to outdoor, indoor pool and hot tub.... More

I was kind of skeptical about going to this motel after reading the reviews here (someone else had already done the reservation before), but I was pleasantly surprised. There are very polarized reviews, so I'd like to shed some light on the situation. Basically, for a long time there was the old management that didn't know how to properly take... More

Stayed last night covered in bed bugs, owner wasn't surprised and offered no compensation when I told him I was burning clothes. Not taking chance with new house. New owners might be calling it hub of the tub. Only place in town with vacancy and place was virtually empty should have ran

I stayed here on Aug. 7 for one night and that will be enough for a lifetime. The room was cheap -- on sale for $59.95 -- had no A/C, was dark and stuffy. But since I was catching the early ferry to Manitoulin, I figured it would do. In the morning, I flipped on the bathroom light to see... More

We stayed one night, we wish we could have stayed longer. Great place, our room was clean, great view, room had a fridge, tv, air condition working perfect. Clean bathroom with all the necessities. Lady from the front desk was very nice and helpful. I would not have a problem recommending this place to my friends, would go back in... More

My family and I came to the Lodge after we couldn't stay at our previous inn and we were very happy with the switch! The Lodge was fabulous, from the pool where my kids had a blast, to the beautiful view from the balcony in our room! Our puppy especially enjoyed the room as he had enough space to run... More

My girlfriend and I booked a room at the hotel despite having doubts about the place before booking it. I am sad to say all the bad experiences people have been reporting about this lodge are TRUE! When we called to book, we made sure that the rooms would be clean since that was the most important to us, unfortunately... More

We had to stay there for 5 days, the smell in the room is disgusting. The sheets are def. not washed- and the bed along with the smelly carpet make the entire experience even more worse. We never ate there but the lady working at the office was ok- not too nice but can't complain about her behaviour. Pay a... More

I checked in at 5 pm after my dives. The checkin was fine - no issues. I went to my room which was nice. This is not a 4-5* or anything - just a place to stay for 1-2 nights while diving or visiting around the area. The shower was good. I had to turn on the heat for a... More

We booked this hotel with my boyfriend and another couple and we were a little skeptical because of all the bad reviews, but we decided to give the place a chance. We arrived at 3pm and were told our rooms were not yet ready. We didn't mind this because we just went into town to explore. When we came back... More
