When we arrived we were asked if we had been to Cricket St Thomas before. Having said no, we were not given any information or a plan of the site. Only later when we went to reception and asked, were we given a map. This is very useful as it gives you some idea of how vast it all is.... More

Have just had a very good weekend break here (we have been here a few time before). Went to see the Miracles (Motown group). Good show Saturday night. Other two nights shows were both very entertaining. Food was very good. Extensive grounds for walking in. Good base for Jurassic Coast visit. Neil Graham singing in the Balcony bar early and... More

Had a good week-end here. It is a good base, central to a lot of National Trust properties, so it's great if you're an NT member. There is plenty to do if you are not into going off-site, especially with the well equipped gym and sport facilities. The evenings are a bit samey, except for the very good Elvis tribute... More

We had been here before. Cricket House is lovely and the grounds are beautiful and it's fun to take a ride on the little railway and then walk around the lovely gardens. The resident entertainment group "The Hamiltones" were pretty bland and the comedian was awful! Neil Graham is a Godsend, entertaining us in the Balcony Bar - very, very... More

The location of this hotel is ideal - near to many sea-side resorts. The massive grounds are beautiful and very well kept with a train ride around at 20 min intervals. The staff were very helpful especially the waiter who sorted out our wine order in order for it to be served quicker. The main events during the day were... More

Our first visit to this hotel, a beautiful Regency mansion set in magnificent grounds. We were a party of four and decided to have a light lunch in the bar of the main building. A beautiful room, we sat down and after a wait of about fifteen minutes gave our order to the waitress, three soups and one burger. After... More

I apologise that your food came out in drips and drabs, that simply is not good enough and does not sound up to our usual standards. I hope you were able to speak to a manager or give feedback to your waitress. Please accept my apologies. Our first ever stay with Warner Leisure, not without some trepidation, but it turned out to be good and we ended up thoroughly enjoying it. My wife's reduced mobility following a knee replacement, and a good package price offer, convinced us to give it a try. The sprawling hotel complex fits in well with the lovely grounds and the original... More

spent the weekend celebrating a friends 60th birthday. What a great time was had by all twenty of us. The hotel was very nice, our room was good although quite a walk from the main building, but not a problem. Food was good, entertainment something for everyone, Elvis was in the building Saturday night and he was excellent. The grounds... More
