Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms were nice (we had rooms on the first floor) and the bathrooms had all facilities and were very well serviced (clean and well maintained). Rooms have either Monreale view or seaview. Breakfast is good with bread, warm croissants, cheese etc. as well as fruits, cerials etc.

Nice enough hotel though not memorable. Reception girl seemed more interested in her personal cell phone conversation than waiting on us. Breakfast was non-descript. A/C did not work.

Hotel Guglielmo II is situated partway up the hill toward Monreale, with a beautiful view of Palermo. We stayed here for two nights- the room was very comfortable. Very helpful staff. The outside sitting area is pleasant and there is adequate car parking. The meal in the hotel was good, on the occasion the restaurant was open. The hotel restaurant is only open one night a week, and it is a very strenuous long walk uphill to Monreale where alternative eating and leisure areas are available.
