My wife and I have stayed here before and as a christmas present for her we booked our stay again as the Three Amigos concert was at this superb venue last night. Everything about this place is 5 star rating from superb food, the magnificent setting, the excellent staff and the brilliant concert was a night to remember and certainly we... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night in January 2012. The hotel is stunning, and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were more then helpful and extremely efficient and professional in manner. We ate in the restaurant that evening, you MUST try the cote du beouf - which comes in a portion size for two. It's one... More

Just returned from a two night break in Lough Rynn and we had an amazing time. We stayed in a beautiful room in the main hotel building. The food was of a really high standard in both the restaurant and the bar. The high tea is a must (really regretting not having it). The bar was reasonably priced for drinks.... More

This is a wonderful spot in the absolute middle of nowhere! Somewhere to go when you want to do nothing but relax. The food is well above average for a four star hotel - really delicious. There is no swimming pool, so there's no pressure to use it. The grounds have the most amazing trees. It has retained the feel... More

We stayed in Lough Rynn recently for two nights for the first time and it was wonderful. We arrived on a wet miserable evening to a lovely log fire inside the door and another in the baronial hall. The baronial hall is a beautifully appointed room with the most amazing fireplace. Our room was very luxurious with a door opening... More

We recently stayed in lough Rynn for two nights, having been a few times before & I do think this place just gets better & better. ( though each time previously I think it's outdone itself). It's a magical place, from the moment you arrive you feel like you've just nestled into a piece of heaven. From the magnificent grounds,... More

A few things it could improve on: 1) Very surprisingly, as of January 2012 the hotel does *not* have wireless internet in the bedrooms. There is wireless in the main room, but the signal is awful, or at least it was last night. When I asked reception about wireless in the bedroom they said they don't have any and gave... More

Considering the price of the food here, I was expecting to be wowed by the food. Far from it I was. My main course, cod, was a beautiful piece of fish, spoled by a flavourless and sickening sauce. The veg on the side were boring and tasteless, and really let down this 'award winning' restaurant. Most of the meal was... More
