We stayed here for a week at the beginning of May and hit lucky with the weather, apart from one or two thunderstorms. We stayed in a Puccini riviera which was fairly basic but it did for us as we were using it as a base because we wanted to see as much of the lake as possible. The caravan... More

Firstly don't be put off by the heading, The park is really nice and clean, although quite steep in places, the pitch we had was number 57 and quite close to the main gate....bonus, the views are very good, there is a rather small port just close by (Portese) with a couple of places to eat, all are not that... This is our first time staying on the west side of Lake Garda. We usually stay in Peschiera in Camp Butterfly or Bellia Italia. Again we take rucksacks with less than 10kg for carry on to Ryanair. We flew with Ryanair to Bergamo. Got the local bus to the train station. Purchase these tickets in the arrival hall and not... More

This is a fantastic campsite for a safe and extremely relaxing holiday. We booked with Canvas as they guarantee a view, this costs a little extra but is worth every penny. Being able to have every meal sitting with an uninterrupted view of Lake Garda is breath taking. Practically it also means you have more space. We stayed in the... More

Had a lovely week here. Stayed in an apartment bungalow (2 adults and 2 kids 10+13). Weather was excellent which always helps. Had no air conditioning but did not need it actually as it was a brick semi detached (small) bungalow. Once windows were open no problem. Neighbours were all nice. Had a lovely terrace with outdoor table and chairs.... More

We stayed here with Canvas early this summer. The views from the premium emplacements with a view were excellent, though the Canvas couriers were pretty thoughtless in putting us (a couple on our own) next to two massive families despite the fact that the rest of the row was empty and remained empty throughout our stay (thumbs down to Canvas... Stayed first 2 weeks of July 2011, blessed with perfect weather. We stayed in a Eurocamp mobile home. As everyone says the site is steep, but worth it for great views. Top to bottom of site involves about 100 steep stairs and a couple of hundred metres uphill walk - decide for yourself whether that's workable. Our young boys didn't... More

We booked through Canvas as I wanted a pitch with a view. paid a premium for this and was glad I did after seeing the other pitches! We have just got back from a week’s stay in a Thompson al fresco Bellini caravan and had a lovely time. September for us was a perfect time to go as the campsite was not over run with visitors and there was definitely no fighting for the sun beds! Temperatures were still hot and we did not have one over... More
