We spent two nights at the Moulin and would have liked to spend more time just sitting by the mill pond watching the ducks. We stayed in the called "The Rock", which from the pictures looked like it might be dank and dark, but it was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was more than just bread and coffee, with a choice... We have discovered this place in 2008, with our two grand-children. We elected then a two bedrooms suite and enjoyed several evening meals. The owner is a good cook, adamant to create surprises for people having delicate taste. She uses local recipes with high quality products. The guests have been complimenting for her excellent cuisine. Since 2008, we came back... More

Although the Moulin de Fresquet is a lovely property, and is highly recommended in Trip Advisor and Rick Steves (France), we would never stay there again because of our interactions with the owner. We were quoted a room price by email for our three day stay of 108 Euros per night, but when we arrived, the owner charged us 118... More

An upmarket, beautifully appointed, quiet hideaway to use as a base to explore the Lot region of France. Every thing about the decor and furniture has been chosen by persons of taste and are a credit to the owners. Thus the bedrooms and public rooms can not be faulted and appear to have come straight out of a design magazine.... More

Wonderful, private and very charming property. We arrived late, having difficulty following the signage at the roundabouts, coming from the direction that we did,, the first roundabout has clear signage, the second none, the third is again clear. We were late, and had not confirmed nor reserved dinner but were informed that we had made reservations on our arrival and... More

Positives: I stayed here for two nights last week with my wife and son. Yes, the property is lovely, spacious and relaxing. Quiet, too, although you can hear some road traffic from the nearby highway. Rooms were quite nice with very comfortable beds and good lighting. Bathroom was quite functional but very small. The WC had to be the smallest... More

We stayed for two nights at the Moulin in May. The property is set in an extensive and attractive garden complete with a millstream and resident ducks. Accommodation is luxurious, and very well appointed. We were fortunate to participate in Claude's evening meal - a real delight and outstanding value with local wines included. Gramat is not on a tourist... More

We stayed four nights in the Moulin de Fresquet. Although Gramat is not a tourist destination itself, it was a great base for visiting nearby sites in several directions, e.g. Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac and the Montal and Castlenau-Bretenoux Chateaux. Gerard and Claude have done a marvelous job with this 600 year old mill. Our room was very tastefully... More

We stayed three nights in the Suite Fenelon and cannot say enough good things about our experience. The suite is spacious, the separate sitting room containing sofa, chairs and desk. The toilet room and the sink (double)/shower room are separate from the bedroom and are very up-to-date. The bedroom has two large closets so it was easy to unpack for... More
