Palmento La Rosa was built in 1791 and used as a wine press until a few years ago. Il Palmento La Rosa lies in the national park “Parco del Etna” at the foot of Mount Etna and is ideal as a base for exploring Sicily's southeast. Thanks to its high altitude of around 700m, you have an excellent view right to the Costa dei Ciclopi. The location guarantees a mild and pleasant climate even in the summer. Il Palmento’s terrace is surrounded by a Mediterranean garden with fruit trees, roses, cacti, palm trees and other indigenous plants.
