Have been returning to Kapasiwin for many years. Every cabin is spotless, everything you need is there. Bring your food and camera and enjoy Northern Saskatchewan. Very close to the lake, not commercial at all. Quiet and rustic away from the town area. Bette and Bryn run a great establishment; we love going in May and September to get away... More

While visiting our son in Saskatchewan, we booked a two-bedroom cottage at Kapasiwin for a two night getaway. The cottage had more than enough room for our five family members. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. We only needed to bring our food, paper towels and three extra chairs. Literally everything else was provided; dish soap, salt and pepper and... More

We love it here. Kepasiwin is a great out of town location, close to the water, close to a running/walking trail, and just an overall great atmosphere. BBQ area is great but you have to plan ahead because it won't accomodate everyone at the same time! Ask for the briquette style and you can take it to your cabin.

Found out they are trying to run a high end home decor store at the main office. The floor is soft and sags under foot. My children went in there unsuperviesed like they would in any campsite store. The floor move, something fell off and landed on something else. Long story short is, I brought my 11 year old daughter... More

The cabin we stayied in was very compact and in need of modernising - one might call it rustic, I would call it tacky. Pubes in the shower did not belong to us. No private BBQ, so had to call off our saturday evening BBQ as the area was hogged by a larger group - same goes for lounge/hot tub... More

Been coming here for twenty years as my son has grown up. We have stayed in all of the types of cabins. Every unit is clean, homey and has what you need. A little rustic, but that is why we leave the city. Stay in town, only if you want partying and booze and hell raising. This is a family... More

We stayed for the Labour Day weekend. The cabins are rustic but that is what makes them so unique. The grounds are kept immaculate. The grounds, the location, the loons, the elk and private beach makes this place a 5 star facility. We have stayed in the town in a much fancier hotel as well we have camped. The location... More

There are a few cabin properties at Waskesiu where the cabins are fairly close together. Kapasawin has them all beat. It is a short drive out of the town centre to a private area with it's own beach. The cabin although close together are the most spread out of the other choices. The staff are very friendly and made us... More

We have been holidaying at Kapasawin bungalows since our kids were young. It has continued to be a favorite yearly vacation spot with friends, relatives and now our kids bring their kids. The Cabins are clean and have all the basic needs other than food and personal items. The townsite of Waskesiu is a pleasant walk through the forest or... More
