The hotel is modern, quite big. Rooms are convenient. The only drawback was the fact that there is only one side of the bed that has a support table. Apart from that everything is convenient, clean and adequate.
Service is helpful though a bit "amateur".
They have a loyalty card but at reception have no idea what is it for...I...

Slightly sterile feel but it really caters for the business community..
Breakfast nothing special but perfectly adequate.

Hotel was nice and clean, however there was no tea or coffee facilities in the room which was quite disappointing. I felt the breakfast was boring - choice of cold scrambled eggs cold meat or bread. If you are on a business trip the hotel was quite adequate.

The WR Hotel is a 4 stars hotel in SJ Madeira, very well located, brand new and with modern design. Altough the staff in the check in weren´t very polite we found the hotel very beautiful, quiet and confortable. The breakfast was also very good.

Hotel conveniently situated in the town but a bit of a drive from the motorway. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast fine although no staff visible when I arrived. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant and unfortunately the quality did not match the prices. Would not recommend it to others. The room and breakfast were extremely good value...

Hotel WR São João da Madeira is a brand new 4 star hotel, well located. Modern and comfortable, you can find many amenities and services available: free parking, wireless internet in all the hotel, inside swimming pool, bars, … all in a perfect combination of modern architecture and functionality.
The rooms are spacious, well decorated. The wardrobe is not big...
