If you are looking for a budget stay near the beach and in proximity of good restaurants in pondicherry, this is the place. You could always stay here and hire a bike and roam around at all the places or just chill at the beach. We were also offered 24 hour check-in/check-out facility on request, so that was another plus.

Rooms on ground floor are bad. Guest house does not have restaurant. The Ajantha Sea View hotel is better than Ajantha Sea View guest house. Location is really good if looking for sea side. They increased the price when we reached guest house although we had done booking. Check in check out time are good.

I don't know what to think.. The weather was really bad when I was in Pondicherry. The hotel had no personality but the people were friendly, the room were kind of clean (for India's standards) and the location was okay.
