We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment for two nights. It is the best place we've stayed in New Zealand.

We found this place through tripadvisor and decided it looked like a good little place to stop over for the night on our way to Queenstown.
When we arrived we were welcomed by the owner and taken into a comfy one bedroom apartment at the front of their own house (They do also have two other self contained larger apartments)....
