Landed in christchurch and drove down straight to this place - picked up our keys from the postbox as the owners were out of town but it was clearly sign posted when they would be back and they did drop in later to have a chit chat with us. This motel situated just off the main road in Amberley has wonderful views of the Teviots and offers quality accommodation in a peaceful setting. We stayed one night en route south but wished it could have been longer. Will definitely stay here again next time we are passing through

This motel is 2 km from Amberley Beach and a 45 minute drive from Christchurch Airport. Amberley is a quiet, rural town on State Highway 1. This motel is located off the main road so is very quiet, the rooms are excellent, very comportable double bed, excellent shower and bathroom. Rianne , the host, could not have been more helpful and really helped me out as my laptop had imploded. If we are in NZ again, we will stay there again.

We thought that the unit must have been brand new. It was so clean and immaculate. But it was four years old. Rianne is a wonderful hostess and realy cares about her guests. Units are very good value. Highly recommended

Three small cottages, with a living/dining/kitchen room, a bedroom, and an outdoor patio with a mountain view, full of light and beautifully appointed. Highly recommended. Amberley is a good base for visiting this Christchurch wine region. Teviot View is in a quiet corner, but still only a couple of minutes from the main road, restaurants, etc.
