Just visited Maringa to visit some friends. The Bristol Metropole has good location, comfortable rooms, good and quick service. For business or leisure travelers, you will find a very decent place to stay at. Continental breakfast very well assorted. I strongly recommend.

29 of us from USA/Europe/Asia were in Maringa from April 14-18, 2011 for our son's wedding. The hotel staff, their services, courtesy and prompt attention to their non-Portuguese-speaking guests was excellent. Rooms are spacious, facilities conducive to holding business or social gathering. Their breakfast/brunch was sumptuous, fresh, delicious and a great value!

Visited Maringa on business during the hot and humid Brazilian summertime, with some colleagues and didn't know where else to stay thus ended up at this hotel. We arrived to the hotel late night, but 2 gentlemen got to the car in a second, opened the door, opened the trunk and carried the bags. The price we had to pay for a premium suite was nothing compared to the service we received.
