The lake-side rooms have lovely views but this is not enough to compensate for the loud music from a nearby bar which continued till 1 or 2am every night of the week during our stay.

We did not stay at the hotel but dined in the restaurant. The service, food and general ambience were excellent.

The woman at reception seemed really annoyed over our arrival. She asked me to sign an empty form, which I refused saying I would have signed once information had been written in, then she claimed we had no booked (we did through venere.com), but when someone else was called our booking turned up...She continued rather annoyed and with no apologies... Hotel staff very helpful organising dental assistance out of hours. Restaurant staff attentive Food typical of Umbria. Superb hotel location altough street noise is a problem. Swimming pool and pool bar are lovely.

Hotel is by the lake and middle of the town. It's easy to take a boat to other side of the lake or go to the restaurants and shops. Town is so small that everything is on walking distance. The hotel is ideally situated to visit and travel around the area. The lake ferries are on the doorstep and the town with its facilities are just outside the front door. The Hotel Lido is centrallty located in Passagnano on Lake Trasimeno. It is fully air conditioned i.e. you can have the air conditioning on all night - useful for us as temperatures soared to 39 degrees.
