Official Description (provided by the hotel):: We are a surf hostel nestled within the jungle at Playa Guiones, Nosara on the Nicoya Peninsula. The hostel attracts an international crowd interested in surfing, art, yoga, music and the pura vida vibe of Costa Rica. Solo Bueno Hostel is the perfect place to enjoy these activities and meet new people. We are a short stroll from the beach and a selection of restaurants, shopping and bars/restaurants. We are just a short walk to the beach and all restaurants, bars, and shopping. Nestled in the beautiful jungle where you can see the monkeys swinging thru the trees, the birds and assorted wildlife. We are a surf hostel with boards for rent, surf lessons, bicycles for rent, yoga classes, quad tours, and many other things to experience and see. We have a full kitchen to use and a large comfortable common area. Solo Bueno Hostel is located 200 meters northeast of the mini super delicias. If you are coming in by bus please ask the driver to let you off at the main road "the Village " is on our corner, its the next stop after the hotel/restaurant Giardino Tropical. Although there aren't many other hostels so there aren't many options in town.... this was only ok for me. Everyone's experiences will be different but when we were there it was super quiet almost awkward. Sorry, your stay wasn't as pleasant as you would have liked. our Hostel does have security, the front door does lock and we have a steel door in the back entrance which gets locked when no one is home,.. after a 17 day stay in costa rica, 13 days of which was in solo bueno, i got home to a tornado within a hurricane. the guy that had agreed to clean my place in exchange for staying there had trashed the place, let a bunch of occupiers steal all my booze, my memory stick, and god knows what else.... Its simple, if you going to stay in Nosara, you have to stay in Solo Bueno. Great owner, clean hostel, and its close to the beach. Its easily the best hostel i have stayed at in Costa Rica.
