We were making a circuit trip around Northern Ireland for a week, and chose Newforge B&B for its location. The owners are terrifically nice and hard working. The house has needed work and there's a little more to do - but it has very nice bones. Our dinner was served well and again the effort was there, but it was... More

We booked the whole house for my mums 70th and it was great! Dinner was excellent. Staff were lovely and really helpful, there was 11 of us plus a 14 month old and they couldn't do enough to help us, especially with the baby. Everyone had a great time. It was my second time to visit and I would highly... More

My fiancé and I recently spent a weekend in the beautiful new forge house, the service is impeccable, it is so personal, warm, and polite; I have never experienced any place like it before. The food is amazing, will satisfy and impress the most discerning foodie!!! There is not a terrible amount to do in the locality, but the beauty... More

I had the pleasure of staying on 2 occasions at Newforge House with my now sadly departed wife. Everything written in the posts is true - staying here is a wonderful experience. The rooms, the food but most especially the feeling of being welcome - to be honest it is like the home from home we all dream about. I... More

This is a lovely old house furnished to a really high standard. The rooms are comfortable and provided with all you need. Staff are courteous and pleasant without being 'in your face'. Dinner is excellent and great value. Keep up the good work.

On 11th February 2013, the day of our wedding had finally arrived. My fiance (now wife!) Clare & I had done our utmost to help orchestrate a bijoux experience for a handful of family & friends. This planning included sourcing a venue that we felt could deliver the goods on all levels: comfort, ambiance, quality, service and, most importantly, food!... More
