I have been staying at The Iron Duke for nearly a year for a few days per week. I have found the rooms clean and tidy and the facilities excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is to much trouble. The new Thai Kitchen is great food and is served with a friendly smile !!

This was an okay B&B. The room was a bit overpriced but overall okay. Unable to open the window or control the heating in the room meant that one went from boiling hot (especially on a morning) to cold. The door didn't seem to close properly. While locked it rattled and made you feel nervous. The staff made us welcome.

What a fabulous time we had. The staff were curtious and charming and were there to help on arrival. The room we had was outstanding fresh sheets clean towels and a very tidy room. We decided to have a meal and I would give it full marks a totally superb stay
