The Proprietor of this hotel spent 27 years overseas honing his craft and it shows in the hotel service and the pride and care taken of each of the staff. A delightful experience. Salvatore was particularly helpful in recommending restaurants and taking time to provide directions and help.

This hotel has a good location near park. Beautiful rooms are so big and comfortable. Breakfast included hams, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, some jams and cakes. Really big choice. The city Acireale have a problem with bus connections. That was a problem for us because we didn't have a car.

This hotel is located central and in a quite area. Rooms are spacious, very clean and including Air-condition. Staff is VERY helpful. They have some indoor parking spaces available as well. Breakfast was good although not typical Italian. Free WIFI service available.

We stayed in Grande Albergo Maugeri for 5 nights,and I can say that everything was according to the four star rating.Starting with the location,(central)continuing with the rooms, that were spacious and clean.Cleaning was also provided every day .The staff was friendly and professional.Breakfast is a small buffet,but satisfactory. I would greatly recommend to anyone.
